Whingeing Muslim loses employment case

A Muslim who sued the supermarket giant Tesco because it insisted he do the job he was being paid to do instead of whingeing about his superstitions has lost his case at an employment tribunal.

Mohammed Ahmed, a Saudi living in Derby, UK, was a warehouseman, and for some reason thought that, by magic, no alcohol would find itself on his forklift truck, because alcohol was against his religion.

He was told to do his job and has sued Tesco on grounds of victimisation and harassment. But now he’s lost.

Well tough, Mohammed!

He’s considering appealing against the decision, however, saying, “It’s not fair but what can I do? They [Tesco] were not taking into account my religious beliefs. I will consult with solicitors.”

Why should they take into account your superstitions, Mohammed? There’s enough of that sort of appeasement happening, thank you very much. If you don’t like it here, you know where you can go.
